Sakarya Commodity Exchange Represented Sakarya at the Türkiye–Egypt Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Cooperation Forum

Sakarya Commodity Exchange Chairman of the Board Mustafa Genç attended the Türkiye–Egypt Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Cooperation Forum held under the chairmanship of Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the World Chambers Federation and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).

Hosted by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the forum brought together leading representatives of the Turkish and Egyptian business communities. Within the scope of the forum, a comprehensive cooperation protocol covering many sectors—primarily industry, trade, agriculture, fisheries, tourism, logistics, and construction—was signed with the participation of chamber and commodity exchange presidents and representatives from both countries.

With the signed protocol, it is aimed to elevate the economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Egypt to a more advanced level. The goals include increasing the bilateral trade volume, improving the investment environment, implementing joint projects, and strengthening communication and cooperation between the business communities. In addition, within the framework of the protocol, it is envisaged to increase business meetings between companies, encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience, and support sectoral collaborations.

During the forum, bilateral meetings and sessions were held where the current trade relations between the two countries were evaluated and new investment and cooperation opportunities were discussed.

Following the forum, Sakarya Commodity Exchange Chairman of the Board Mustafa Genç stated in his evaluation that the cooperation established between Türkiye and Egypt offers significant opportunities for the business communities of both countries, emphasizing that such organizations are of great importance for the Sakarya business community in expanding into international markets. Genç also stressed that, as the Sakarya Commodity Exchange, they will continue their efforts with determination to increase the export capacity of their members and to develop new collaborations on a global scale.
